Taylor Rodeo
Since 1950, the Taylor Rodeo Association has proudly brought to you the Taylor Annual Rodeo in the hometown of Bill Pickett. The crowds that come to this yearly event have grown because of the enthusiasm and the excitement– but most of all for the entertainment they receive. Over the years the Taylor Annual Rodeo has become the big fish in a small pond. It is one of the biggest and best small-town rodeos anywhere.

BBQ Cookoff
Join us as City of Taylor Main Street Program kicks off our first annual barbecue cook off! We want to showcase Taylor’s history at our festival and Taylor’s history contains barbecue. We will have four categories this year: Chicken, Ribs, Cook’s Choice and Children’s Chicken. Since we are just getting started, we won’t have entry fees, just a fun time in our historic downtown. There will also be entertainment and vendors all day long. After the cook off, join us for the Street Dance from 5 – 9 pm. Click here for more information and an application.

The street dances promises lots of music, fun, and good times! Dance starts at 5 pm and lasts until 9 pm with beer and wine available among the beautiful backdrop of Heritage Square. There will be a stage featuring local and area talent to celebrate our community’s diversity and live bands for the street dance. Cultural and heritage music and song will be showcased throughout the day and into the early evening. No better way to spend the weekend!
