This is a great way to experience making pottery for the first time. We want you to have a great time creating pottery whether you are a beginner or more advanced. However, please remember this is just an introduction to clay! We cannot guarantee high quality results for pottery made during the session. Our goal is to provide you with a great event to remember!
We’re located on Potter’s Alley, direct entrance off Talbot Street/Main Street on the alley side of the McCrory Timmerman building.
Students are invited to learn to use the pottery wheel for the first time to throw a decorate a wheel thrown item, then decorate the item them with our assortment of texture tools. You will learn to make a pulled coil handle to start the class, get a demo on the wheel with the instructor, then start your creation on the wheel.
We will fire your pieces in our kiln with a single glaze of your choice from our studio selection. Pieces will be fired and ready for pickup within a couple weeks.
