The City of Taylor each year conducts a one-hour ceremony on Memorial Day to honor our country’s fallen veterans. The program includes reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance, recognition of military veterans and active duty personnel and families, keynote speakers, and singing of the National Anthem and God Bless America. The Taylor Honor Guard conducts the Raising of the Flag, and at the conclusion, there is a Three-Volley Salute by Taylor Police. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the ceremony.
The ceremony is free and open to everyone.
